Day 1 Full description
Travel from Paris to Alsace by comfortable coach and spend a full day discovering two of the region’s most popular Christmas destinations: Colmar and Strasbourg. The journey begins in Paris late on Friday evening. After meeting our team and completing passenger check-in, we leave Paris at 11:30 PM and travel overnight towards Alsace. Comfort stops will be made during the journey, allowing you to relax and rest on board.
Day 2 Visite Colmar and Strasbourg.
Our first stop is Colmar, where you will have several hours to explore the town at your own pace. Known for its colourful half-timbered houses, canals and charming old town, Colmar is especially beautiful during the Christmas season. Take a walk through Petite Venise, explore the historic streets, visit the Christmas markets, take photos and enjoy some time in the local cafés, shops and restaurants. Around midday, meet our driver and team at the agreed meeting point before returning to the coach for the journey to Strasbourg. We arrive in Strasbourg in the early afternoon, giving you plenty of free time to explore the city independently. Walk through the historic centre, see Strasbourg Cathedral, discover the Petite France district and visit Place Kléber, home to the famous Christmas tree during the festive season. You can also explore the Christmas markets, browse the shops, stop for a meal or simply enjoy the Christmas lights and atmosphere around the city. This is a self-guided trip, so you are free to organise your time in Colmar and Strasbourg according to your own interests. Our team will provide the transport between the destinations, while you explore the cities independently. In the evening, return to the designated meeting point in Strasbourg for passenger check-in and boarding. We then leave Strasbourg at approximately 10:00 PM and travel overnight back to Paris.
Day 3 Arrive in Paris
The estimated arrival in Paris is between 6:00 and 7:00 AM on Sunday morning.
